Nike SB RESN

Nike SB RESN

Nike SB Resn Gucci Colors

Recently Nike SB released the Dunk High RESN. These shoes go back to 2005, designed by Sam Smyth from “Girl Skateboard”. On that exact same day, my old time favorite’s the Nike SB Dunk Low Diamonds (Tiffany color ways) were designed . These shoes actually did release. Now, more than five years later Nike decided to finally release the RESN’s.

These shoes were really hyped back in the days. People payed crazy prices for the samples on eBay, but now that we have the chance to really own a pair for a decent price, I find myself less interested. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge Nike SB fan, but the legendary shoe that seemed to be unavailable now is available. The hype ends.

Bad news for the guys with expensive samples, good news for the SB collectors.

But still, the colors which represent Weed, Fire and Resin are real slick. The “RESN” on the tongue represents the piece Sam Smyth used to write when he was with the IBC tagging crew in San Francisco. I used to buy Nike SB’s on a regular base back in the days. But over the past few years in my opinion, Nike SB is lacking their game.

I’ve become more selective and only buy the most awesome releases to add to my collection.

This shoe still has the feel of the 2005 collection, that’s what makes it so good. The “RESN” definitely belongs to my selection this year.

Didn’t had a chance to cop a pair of these? Ben-G (Amsterdam) released them last Saturday 21st of November, maybe they still have some in stock.

For a new fresh chance, visit Manus Skateshop (The Hague), which is releasing these shoes next Saturday 28th of November 10.00 o’clock sharp.
