As they should have! JDM Legends is an importer of these metal candies, they restore and sell classic 1970′s Japanese metal. Below you can see the nice video they made with music from Sweden’s Lykke Li.

A powerful and motivating piece of text that should boost each and everyone of you out there this year, the year of the rabbit.

Teshima Art Museum stands on a hill on the island of Teshima overlooking the Inland Sea (Japan). Artist Rei Naito and architect Ryue Nishizawa created a museum shaped like a drop of water. On the ceiling 4.5 meters above, two oval openings allow the air, sounds, and light of the world outside into this organic space which is designed to interact the architecture with the nature.

His style is favorite with the wealthy. With the use of exotic products and (almost) forgotten styles, John combines the best things in art in the whole world. Brutblog was at the opening of the exhibition, called Seductions by John Breed.
When John wants to learn a new style, he won’t take a quick course. John will travel to the country where this style was born, and he will search for a master to teach him. When John wanted to learn graffiti, of course he went to the heart of all graffiti: New York City. When John wanted to learn calligraphy, he went to China.
Can you remember the ultimate seduction in the history of faith? Ofcourse, this is Adam and Eve in Paradise. John really excelled on this one. Here you find some pictures of the opening. Excuse us for the poor quality.
We also received a silkscreen of a dollar (a thing that makes seductions possible), hand signed by John. Soon more on this artwork, when it’s framed.
The silkscreen. Awesome.
Ofcourse, sushi at Little Buddha with the cocktail ‘Ultimate Seduction’ (champagne, strawberries, white chocolat and ice). Little Buddha: always poor service, but great sushi.

Awesome campaign for Canon’s Pixma ink printer brand by using sound vibration. A membrane will be wrapped around a small speaker and ink drops will be placed on this. When the speaker turns on, the vibration will make the ink jump up and down. Experimenting with different sounds and frequencies created the epic pieces.
Credits go out to Dentsu and photographer Linden Gledhill.

Last Saturday, December 11th, the new Bugatti Veyron Super Sport was introduced at Hessing (Netherlands). With 1200 BHP and a 0 to 200 km/u (120 mph) in 6,7 seconds, this new Bugatti will crush any other car. There’re only 15 made. With an option of € 220.000 ex VAT for a carbon fibre body work, this car has a price tag of € 2.730.000. Astonishing.

“The ART Proof is uniting young and emerging contemporary artists and exhibits their work in a one-off ‘Pop-Up’ event in Amsterdam. The Pakhuis de Zwijger will be dedicated to the epitome of first-class ambiance; It will feature photography, paintings, illustrations and design. The finest soul, funk and classic hip-hop beats will get hips moving… and heads nodding. A big part of the evening will be an abstract and fantastical short video called Stolen Sandwich.”
